Use Different Photos on One Layout
By Lisa McGarvey

Usually when most of us do a layout, its of pictures from one sitting. A birthday, pictures from a day at the beach or just a few great shots that were taken during one sitting. I think as scrapbookers we're taught that its easier to scrap by grouping event pictures together. My challenge for you this week is to scrap pictures from differnet sittings. For example: these three pictures are of my husband Matt, but they are from three totally different times and places. The black and white picture was taken at Easter last year, the one of him bending over is from a series of shots taken in our front yard around January and the one of him with the sunglasses and Steeler hat (GO STEELERS!) was taken at the beginning of the month during our trip to Joshua Tree. They are three photos that have nothing in common other than the subject. I find that sometimes doing pages where the photos have no link are my favorites. Not only do layouts like this give me an opportunity to do a layout about something totally random, but they also enable me to use up pictures that I like, but that didn't necessarily fit anywhere. Give it a try and good luck!
