| Thanks for taking a peek! Here is my new and improved space, we just moved into our new house and I took over the formal dining room as my new office spave. I love the room because it sits at the back of the house, giving me great views into the backyard to watch the kids play, it's right off the kitchen...so I can scrap and cook, and it looks onto the living room and out to the front yard. :) Photo 1: This photo shows the main guts of the room. When ordering the furniture, I think that I thought that I might have had more room than I really did, but having the two tables is really perfect for me since I spread out so much while I scrap. Photo 2: this shows the bookcase (an old Ikea purchase) that has perfectly sized shelves for 12" paper. I scrap with my back to this bookcase as it houses all my papers right at eye level. I have bins for specific product lines as well as many totes for all of my photos. For now, there is also room for some of my completed albums. Photo 3: A closer shot of the bookcase. Photo 4: This photo shows the back corner of the room where my computer equipment is stored. Photo 5: Another shot of the computer cart and the door opening to the living room which will eventually have french doors. Photo 6: THis is a close up shot of my work surface. I like to see all my tools so I use baskets and bins for my items that I use all the time and the other items can be stored out of sight. Photo 7: this shows the corner cabinet that I designed and built when I was in college. I never really had a good use for it until now - it fits perfectly in the room and has just the right sized drawers for storing 12 x 12 items. I also have a couple bulliten boards around the room for products that I like that I need to keep in view to remind myself to use :) Photo 8: A close up shot of my desk with the drawer for my often used items. |
