Being a working mom is not easy...trying to find balance...trying to be a good mom.Sigh.JOURNALING:I wake up and I’m late. I never set the alarm. Damn. I have 45 minutes to take a shower, get dressed, do Zavias hair, get Jakai ready, make his bottles for daycare and get out the house. I have to make sure Tayvonne takes care of Sparky before he leaves and gets a snack. I get into the car and I have no stinkin gas. I hate pumping gas. Run and get gas, drop Jakai off at Daycare and head to work. Blast my Kayne West CD and just chill for a good 15 minutes. I get to work ( the garage always smells like pigeon crap) and turn my PC on. My co-worker Mark ( my work husband as Andre refers to him) and I head down to Dunkin Donuts for our morning coffee. I have meetings scheduled all day. I have to finish the company’s Asset under Management report that was due like yesterday but all I want to do is check out 2peas. Finally turn in my report, put out a couple fires ( figuratively speaking) and head to pick Zavia up from School, get Jakai from Daycare to stop at home for Zavias Soccer gear. I head to the park with the baby in tow and try and get a few minutes of quiet time. After practice I head home to cook, clean and hopefully have the stamina to scrapbook.
