Flowers in the house are a nice touch. It helps make a home lovely. That's my mother's gift to her family.
Journaling: "My mother instilled in me the love for flowers. She has a passion for them that is humbling and inspiring. I never understood it growing up. I never understood why she spent so many hours in the garden on her knees in the dirt. Now, after having grown up and looking at the world beyond myself, I'd like to think I finally got it. I finally see why my mother was so passionate. She was growing beauty for her family. She was doing what she naturally did well - nurture, guide, love. I now have the same passion. I now must make sure there are floweres in the house everyday."
The blooms you see are orchids that are in our house all year long. They make me happy everyday.
