First I should say, that the scan is really bad. The big label plate really made it hard to get a good scan of the colors. In real life this page is soft...and more pastel.
The trend that I am seeing all over the place right now is the use of butterflies, and really romantic lacey tops, lots of soft vintagey feeling clothing. I spent the weekend at the mall of America, and this look is everywhere right now. Lots of white. Lots of aged/ romance inspired clothing. I think it is sort of shabby..with a twist of vintage. So this was my ode to that look. To get this look in your pages, pull out some soft colors, add a bit of ruffle, or lace, a rub on with some ornamental inspiration. Keep it clean, not inked or messy. Look around your favorite stores, and you will see...clean classy romance is where it's at.
steps:
1.Cut decorative edge out of the green floral paper by Anna Griffin
2. adhere the green floral paper onto the pink paper (also Anna Griffin)
3.adhere photos to a piece of textured lace paper..or create your own decorative paper by using hole punches, or hand stitching
4. embelish the page with chipboard flowers from Imagination project, a label or two for journaling.
5. finish by adding the rub ons and a book plate secured with brads
