Everyone should carry around with them 'Thank You' cards. This is a cardinal rule of my mother's. It's a good rule, I think. You never know when you'll need one.
I made these tags for my friend who's getting married. I figure with all the gifts she and her groom will be receiving, she'll definitely put them to good use.
SUPPLIES -Textured patterned paper
-Cardstock
-Alphabet rub-ons
-Image rub-ons
-Plastic embellishments
-Tag image stamp
-Ink and paint
-Tools: corner rounder and stapler
STEPS 1. Cut cardstock into 2.5"x4" pieces. Using a foam brush, brush paint across the cardstock pieces in lines. Set aside to dry.
2. Cut textured patterned paper into panels 1/3 the length of the tags. Adhere these pieces to the cardstock and finish off by rounding the corners.
3. Stamp tag image on tag itself then apply image rub-ons, "layering" them on tag image.
4. Attach plastic embellishment with staples. Play around with positioning, alternating their placement per tag.
5. Apply alphabet rub-ons using the initials of the individual who will be offering the sentiment.
