Last Time as Lt. Kurz
By Laura Kurz

My husband’s last day in the Navy was a few weeks ago…I’ve always been so proud of how proud he is to serve this country of ours. It was weird this day, to see him put on his uniform for the last time. But he looks hot in his new civilian clothes, so not a whole lot of complaining here!

Journaling: “Ever since I’ve known Ken, he’s been in the military. He’s gotten up every morning and put a uniform on. Getting out of the Navy will be an adjustment, for sure. But I love Lieutenant Kurz and I couldn’t be more excited to get to know Mr. Kurz.”

Supplies:
Cardstock – American Crafts
Letter Stickers – Making Memories
Mini Letter Stickers – Making Memories
Font – Georgia

Steps:
1. Resize photo to size desired; print and round corners.
2. Type journaling on piece of white cardstock and print; crop to same size of photo and round corners. I also inked the edges to distress a bit.
3. Place stickers on top and bottom of journaling.
4. Place mini number stickers where you want them.
5. Draw line with pencil where you want stitches to appear. Then hand-stitch them on to the cardstock.
6. Voila!
