| This was fun - I got to sit here and relive everything we did all summer. :) This is a great way to 'get it all down' in one fell swoop. Then you can relax and get to the individual layouts when you have time.
To make the collage of photos digitally:
1. Create a new 8x11 canvas in Photoshop.
2. Go through all your summer photo files. Whenever you come across one that really captures what you did, open it and go to Image>Image Size and resize it to 1" tall (it'll automagically resize the width for you).
3. Drag the photo over onto the 8x11 canvas.
4. Repeat until you have a big collage of pics, then print. Cut it into sections to use on your page.
To create the title:
1. In Photoshop, open or drag in one of the blank gypsy monograms from Rhonna's new kit.
2. Use the Edit>Transform function to make it horizontal.
3. Type 2006 in a nice grungy font over the top, setting the text to blank or paper (this will make it clear).
4. Print on a transparency and lay it over the patterned paper strip.
Products used include the 2Peas Airplanes font, BasicGrey papers from the Hang 10 and Color Me Silly lines, Rhonna's Gypsy Monograms digital kit, and American Crafts brads (of course!).
