As someone who loves colors and fun patterns, I really love the new AC papers. After printing my photo I decided that I wanted to use a pattern that had some orange. These papers were just what I was looking for. With the background pattern being so strong, I used one other coordinating pattern (the striped paper) and kept the rest of the papers solid.
Instructions:
1. Trim down patterned AC paper to 8½ X 11 to use as the background.
2. Adhere light blue strip on the right side of page. I used the flipside of the AC paper.
3. Ahere photo, yellow paper piece and black cardstock strip to page. All pieces should be side-by-side, creating a rectangle.
4. Trim two thin strips of black cardstock and adhere to top and bottom of page.
5. Use circle punch and/or circle templates and a craft knife to create circles. Ink the edges and adhere to page.
6. Use software to create journaling. I did my journaling in Paint Shop Pro. I drew the shape of the circle and created the text so it would fit inside the shape. I then printed it on yellow paper, cut out the circle with a craft knife, inked the edges and adhered to the page.
7. Use a variety of letter stickers to do the title.
