What is more memorable than summer swimming? :) This summer my girls were both excited to jump in the pool off the diving board. While I didn't have pictures of the actual event, I decided to just substitute it for generic jumping in the pool pictures. At least it's in my books now. :) I found the Sassafrass Lass paper to be perfect for a swimming page.
Supplies: 2 sheets Sassafrass paper (blue lined and circles) One sheet of Kraft Cardstock (12x12) one sheet of white cardstock (8.5x11), 2Peas Rickety font, white Charlie American Crafts stickers, white Ned American Crafts rub-ons, adhesive, corner rounder, black .03 pen, 2 photo corners (optional).
Steps:
1. Cut the blue lined paper into a 10.5 inch square.
2. Adhere blue lined paper to center of Kraft cardstock, put photo corners on the top two corners of blue paper.
3. Round corners of two 4x6 photos, adhere to top right corner with photos overlapping and offset.
4. Cut a 4x12 inch piece of the circle paper. Cut along the top line of intact circles to have an uneven, circle-y edge. :) Adhere to bottom of the page, leaving top edge open.
5.Type up journaling in three sections using 2 Peas Rickety font (such a great match with the Ned rub-ons!), print on white cardstock with blue ink. Cut out journaling squares, round corners, tuck the bottom of the journaling squares behind the edge of the circle paper.
6. Use white Ned rub-ons for the first part of the title, outline with black pen.
7. Use white Charlie stickers for last word in title, overlapping the photo, and outline three times with black pen.
8. Outline edges of circle paper, journaling boxes, blue striped paper and photos with three black lines.
