Scenic Route Paper & Chipboard: Finally Furniture
By Tracy Miller

I am in love with the Scenic Route Cape Town stuff. The color combination just seems to work so well with my pictures, and the patterns are awesome!

Supplies:
Black cardstock
Strip Patterned paper
Grid patterned paper
Chipboard accents
Digital date kit
Digital paper kit
Digital tag kit
Chipboard letters
Script letter stickers
Small script letter stickers
Black decorative brad
Black pen

Instructions
1. In Photoshop or similar program, open dated arrow from Traci Turchin's "Got a Date?" kit . Resize as needed Image ->Image Size. Open dated circle from same kit and resize if necessary as well.
2. Open lined paper from Kate Teague's Line 'Em Up Paper Pack . Crop to 6"x6". Move arrows onto lined paper using the move tool.
3. Open round circle from date kit. Use it to mark the date on the arrow and circles by dragging it into position over the appropriate month. Resize as necessary (Edit->Transform ->Free Transform).
4. Print and trim arrow and date circle. I use "Matte Paper Heavyweight" from Epson.
5. Open tag from Kate Teague's Write 'Em Up Embellishment kit . Resize as necessary. Print and trim.
6. Trim grid patterned paper to 11.75x11.75" and layer over black cardstock.
7. Trim the strip patterned paper approximately 6.75 x12 (or to showcase the patterns you want to use.) Layer over grid patterned paper background.
8. Trim one photo to approximately 4x4." Arrange 2 4x6" photos and the 4x4" onto the background.
9. Place arrow date, circle date and tag onto background.
10. Apply chipboard letters for title at top of page. Use letter stickers for subtitle along bottom of page, overlapping journaling tag.
11. Add chipboard phrase to right hand photo and chipboard corner to bottom left of layout.
Add chipboard border strip along top and bottom of patterned paper, trimming as necessary.
12. Journal with black pen. Add black brad to tag.
