1. Gather your supplies – paint, papers, album, ribbon/fabric, rub-on frames, Halloween ephemera/embellishments, overlays, stickers, sandpaper, adhesive, scissors.
2. Remove spiral from album and discard! we will rebind with fabric strips/ribbon.
3. Paint covers with black paint and let dry.
4. Paint several pages in black and orange acrylic paint.
5. Cover several pages with different patterned papers, sand the edges.
6. Repunch holes through patterned paper with holepunch, bind other items (such as envelopes, halloween paper bags, transparencies etc) into the album by lining up and punching appropriate holes.
7. Bind pages and covers together by threading fabric scraps/ribbon through holes and tying in knots. Allow enough space to turn pages (don't tie too tight!).
8. Embellish pages with journaling stamps, rub-on frames, flowers etc ready to put photos into and journal.
9. Decorate cover with tape, letter stickers and handwriting.
