Create your own transparency elements:: digital tutorial
By Rhonna Farrer

How to create custom Transparency elements.

One of the hottest things in scrapbooking is transparencies.
You see them in frames, accents, overlays, & even tags.
Did you know that you can create your own, personalized transparent elements using Two Peas digital kits, your computer/printer & some ink-jet transparency paper?

Follow these easy steps.
How to: 1. Open the frame from Vintage Newspapier Kit by going to: FILE>OPEN> & find the kit folder. Select the Accents folder & then open up frames. Here, I’ve used the portrait/vertical frame.
2. Notice the frame is brown. To match this, simply select your Color Picker/Eye Dropper.
3. Load your Royal Parisian Brush Kit & select your swirls with the brown color. (image 2 & 3)
4. Stamp/click on the corner for the look here. (image 4 & 5)
You can change the colors & add text, too. (image 6 & 7)
5. Voila! You have a custom frame you can now print out onto an ink-jet transparency.
6. You can find ink-jet transparencies online, or at office supply stores.
Follow the ink-jet transparency instructions. You will notice that there is a coated side & a slippery side. The coated side is the side you want your ink printed.
7. Cut our & adhere just like you would pre-made transparencies.
For this frame, just add directly over your photo as seen here in image 8.

You can create your own accents, or overlays by following the above steps, just make a few adjustments in size. Have fun & enjoy the process.
