newsletter lo: Bohemia rub on (MME)

This lo is to celebrate the fact my son, who as a todler couldn't even stand to get his hands messy, loves to get buried in the sand. The info stamped into the background is subtle because not everyone who sees my book needs to know he went thru tons of occupational therapy. 1. Rub on the title by My Mind's Eye onto cardstock. Cut it out, ink it and place one small piece of adheasive tape in the center of the back. (you are going to want to lift up the edges or move it when stamping...so just make sure it is held in place but not permanent) 2. Cut out and ink edges of photo and adhere it to that page the same way. 3. Using a clear resist stamp pad (by Ranger) I stamped the words onto the background to complete the title phrase This Boy...."didn't like to get his hands dirty." I used the star to fill in any gaps in the stamping. 4. Once the stamping is finished, adhere down the rest of the photo and the title block. Cut strips of the gaffer's tape into fourths length wise and place them under the frame. Staple the frame into place. 5. Tear the Heidi Swapp red tape into small quares and rectanglish shapes and place them to each side of the photo in triangles. 6. Place one piece of red tap over the bottom protion of the photo. Cut and ink a journaling strip to go over it. Journal.
