Seasonal Projects: Button Tree (Lift of Tia)

 The great Tia lift!!! I think at least 20 of us have lifted this tree by now. It really stood out to me among the handmade gifts this year and I *know* my mother in-law is going to adore this. Tia went pretty and classy, but that doesn't really fly in my MIL's house so I chose colors that worked best with her current decor. The best part is how super fast and easy it is to get one of these done...

SUPPLIES NEEDED
1. Styrofoam tree form.
2. Buttons
3. Pins

DIRECTIONS
1. attach the buttons to the tree form by sticking a pin through the pre-made holes.
2. layer smaller buttons to cover any gaps.

SPECIAL NOTES
Because I used mostly small buttons I needed about 500. If you use the larger buttons it takes WAY less...buttons, time and money!
