Seasonal Layouts : Comfort Food

Our mid-month seasonal layout theme for this month is winter. I knew I just had to scrap about what has come to be my comfort food, or rather drink, this winter. The hot chocolate patterned paper and chipboard shape from KI's Alpine collection fit my layout perfectly!
Supplies: Cardstock, patterned papers, stickers, decorative chipboard, ribbon, pen, adhesive
Directions:
1. Trim ditted kraft paper and adhere to white cardstock so that there is a 1/4 inch border along the top, left and right edges.
2. Trim a strip of patterned paper to adhere along the bottom of the layout.
3. Place kraft stickers over the strip of patterned paper and embellish with a decorative chipboard shape.
4. Mat 4x6 photo with white cardstock and adhere on page over a strip of mini-scalloped cardstock.
5. Embellish photo with ribbon.
6. Use letter stickers to create title.
7. Handwrite journaling underneath the bottom of the strip of patterned paper.
Journaling reads, "So this winter's comfort food for me is a drink. Hot chocolate. A steaming cup from Oberwies, with whipped cream please. My favorite. Or Swiss Miss with marshmallows made at home. Yum! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Maybe it's a craving with this pregnancy. Either way. I love my hot chocolate. 02/07"
