Themed Projects :Wiggle Jiggle Boy
By Joy Bohon

When I first saw these 7 gypsies rub ons with the little acrobatic figures it immediately brought to mind the idea for this layout. Such cute little figures in all different poses- reminded me so much of what life has been like with Oliver as we try to keep him entertained. :)
Journaling reads: 4 months of colic. 4 months of learning how to soothe a baby who doesn’t want to be soothed. 4 months of doing whatever I can do to make each day a little easier.Joining the ranks of other mothers who have been there before me. Realizing how easy my two girls were in comparison to Olivers newborn weeks. Realizing that my attachment parenting ways, my demand feeding, my baby wearing, my early response-that it wasn’t always going to be enough. Learning to accept help from others, watching Steve become more competent at dealing with a crying infant, stepping up, knowing that it wasn’t just that Oliver wanted mom-that he too could bounce and swaddle and jiggle and shush this baby to a more calm state. And jiggling this boy, that was the best soother of all for him. I should be 100 lbs, as much time as I spent bouncing and shaking around the house. Of course I am not , but that too is another story. Point here is that he is a baby constantly in our arms, constantly in motion. The screaming inconsolable times are less often now, a happier more contented baby is emerging. His song forever and always to me will be” He likes to move it move it”. A man in motion. 4 months of jiggling. 07
As far as theme is concerned-this is one of my favorite ways to use a 4x6 photo-accompanied by some smaller cropped photos and arranged in a block with equal margins.
