Themed Projects : This Makes Me Smile.

 I love these pictures. I put my latest layouts in an album that I leave on a shelf in the living room, and Griffin looks at them all the time.

Supplies: Scenic Route patternerned papers; white and blue cardstock; chipboard hearts; MM ledger paper; sewing machine; date stamp.

Steps:
1. Layer papers on the background cardstock.
2. Use your photo editing program to lay out the photos. I made 2 layers of the 4x6 photo. Then I used the selection tool to select the area I wanted in color and deleted that area from the b&w layer (the b&w layer was on top of the color layer).
3. Print the photo block and trim.

5. Stitch in big circles around the layout.
6. Print the title on ledger paper, trim, and attach.
7. Add the chipboard hearts and journaling strip.
