I'm not a big fan of winter, I don't like the cold. But I do love to snowshoe up in the woods especially right after it snows, before there are any tracks. This is a shot I took last winter up a beautiful canyon near my house.

The title and snowflakes on this layout are done digitally. Since my printer doesn't print in white, I had to print the entire black piece on this layout to get the snowflakes and title in white. It took a lot of ink, but I love how it turned out.

1. Open a new document 7.5 x 10. Fill it with black. Stamp the title and snowflakes in white (stamp each on separate layers so you can move them around where you want). Print out on matte photo paper. I always recommend that you print your digital elements on photo paper so that the colors are true and vivid and the blacks a deep black.

2. Cut it out and mount it on patterned paper. I cut one die cut tag to make the two tags that I tied on top of the photo. Before you glue them down add your photo and rub on border.

3. Tie the tags to the photo with fibers.

4. Add journaling.
