Journaling reads: Bits of our life at 5 weeks old. Maternity leave. Fragmented sleep. Family bed. Swaddling. Baby wearing. Jiggling. Shushing. Overactive letdown. Prolonged agitation and staring off into space (you, not me). Grunting at 5 am. Waking your father. Lots of baby poops. Spit up. Dairy elimination. One hungry mother. Chasing rabbits in your sleep- nighttime chuckles. Countless photographs.Baby radar. Bath dislike. Building up a freezer stash of breastmilk. Online shopping. Daytime tv for the first time in years. A beeper free existence. A messy house. One handed internet typing. Phone calls to grandma. Thank you notes. Internet shopping. Sending dad to the grocery store. A time of many moments. Our time. Home. Alone. Mother and son. Together. Complete.
Layout instructions:
1. Crop and mount photos on white cardstock then trim. Mount cardstock piece onto patterned paper.
2. Print journaling onto white cardstock and add to center of layout.
3. Stamp circle stamp onto white cardstock then punch out center using a circle punch. Add to side of journaling block and staple a felt number 5 onto edge to represent the first 5 weeks.
4. Finish with a felt number at the bottom and a 7 gypsies sticker strip.
