I did something a little bit different with this one, and paper pieced the letters. I traced the alphas from a sheet of Narratives monogram letters. I traced different sections of each letter on different sheets of paper, cut them all out and stuck them together. Fun! A great way to re-use the negative portion of monograms!
Journaling reads: Another season of skating has started. This is your third year, and every single time I watch you glide across the ice, I can't help but think that you are a natural. You love to skate, that is obvious... all a person has to do is notice the grin on your face. Yep, your mamma loves that you love it. It takes me back to the days that I loved it just as much. There is just something about moving on the ice, jumping and spinning... it is freedom! September 2008
