Newsletter Layouts : 1 Product 3 Ways: Prima Caboodles Flowers
By Shannon Tidwell
The Prima Caboodles Flowers are the cutest little things! There is a mixture of sizes and colors that's perfect for your next project. I love the tin that they come in too. Once I use all the flowers it will be a great organization or gift tin.
I decided to highlight the Caboodles Flowers on cards. I love having cards handy and these almost fresh flowers are a perfect way to cheer up someone's day.
Suspended in thin air.....
For the first card I made a little magic.:) I used my circle cutter to cut out a medium sized hole in the front of a card. Then I attached a 1/2" strip of paper across the backside of the hole. I then attached the Caboodles Flower to the strip. To help accent the flower I covered the inside background of the card with patterned paper. So just one flower made a big impact!
Bouquet of flowers....
This time I decided to use a LOT of flowers! I adhered the flowers with glue dots and just kept adding them until the card looked right. I flipped up the petals on some to help fluff it up a bit. Then, I added the card greeting right on top of the flowers. I think they look so pretty bunched together like that!
Just the blooms....
And for my last card I felt like I just wanted the blooms....without the leaves. So, I carefully tore and cut the leaves off the back of the blooms. Once I had enough I adhered the blooms closely together in a row. I thought it gave the blooms a bit of a 'cleaner' look, perfect for the card.
