Have you seen Carolyn Peeler's work? You really should check her out here. She has an amazing design sense, lovely color schemes, and beautiful stamping on her projects.
I was thoroughly inspired by her gallery.
Carolyn typically uses beautiful pastel colors, but as I am a bit pastel color challenged I decided to use a bolder color scheme. I loved her use of damask stamps and so I embossed mine with Zing Embossing powder from American Crafts. Their embossing powders come in gorgeous colors. The little butterflies are also embossed in a rich lime green color. I love her use of vintage paper like piano paper so I used Jenni Bowlin word paper to echo Carolyn's design.
I've included a few of her pieces below to help show some of the design elements that inspired my layout.
