Newsletter Layouts : I Love My Little Shoesbox Diecuts!
By Stacey Sattler
I adore these My Little Shoebox die cut sheets. They are brightly colored, cute and versatile. I'd like to show you a few ways to use them.
Canvas Art (photo 1) - I first painted a small canvas, then attached a Little Shoebox die cut. I stamped a sentiment, punched it out, and pop-dotted it to the die cut. To complete the piece, I tied a ribbon along the top of the canvas. Now it's ready to hang!
Brag Book (photos 2-7) - I've done a few of these over the years--and I still love the simplicity of this project! I used a set of self-laminating luggage tags for this brag book. I printed out a small phot for each tag, attaching it to a Little Shoebox die cut, then sealed it into the tag. I clipped all of the tags together with a book ring, tying ribbon on as a final touch.
Layout (photos 8 & 9) - After making the brag book, I had lots of little clippings from the edges of the die cut pieces. They were too cute and interesting to throw away! I used the edges from those die cuts to create a couple borders on my layout.
