I had such a fun time making this mini album!
(If you want to see step by step instructions - you can see the downloadable/printable PDF file)
I didn't like the idea of mini albums before a year and a half ago.
I have several friends who make them all the time.
I thought, why not just make scrapbook pages and put them safely into my album, protected under my pager protectors?
But then my friend Stacey Kingman told me how much her children enjoyed looking through the mini albums and cards she made for them.
And I realized this: it must be so affirming for a child to hold a mini book made just about them from their mom. I mean, that has to make you feel pretty special. My boys have always been into scrapbooking. They like to see pages about themselves, they give me suggestion and endure the gazillion photos I take.
But when I made a mini album about a family trip - they really liked it. When I made a "Now you are 10" album for my oldest...the other 2 wanted to know when they got their own mini album too!
For me, it is fun to change things up and scrapbook in a different size and shape!
