Close to My Heart sent me this awesome Everyday Celebration kit, created exlcusively for National Stamping month. It comes with supplies to make eight adorable cards. Instead, I swtiched it up to make a layout with plenty of supplies left over to whip up some great celebration cards.
Products Needed:
- CTMH patterned paper and cardstock
- one card base used for tracing
- Everyday Celebration stamp set
- Dutch Blue Ink
- Chocolate Ink
- Chocolate Distress Ink
- Fiskars Punches
- American Crafts Pen
- Sewing Machine
1.) Start by inking the edges of 12x12 cream cardstock for the base of the layout. Trace the bracket edge of a card onto patterned paper and blue cardstock. Trim out with scissors. Stamp stitched bracket onto the patterned papers and ink edges with distress ink. Cut down and adhere to background.
2.) Adhere ribbon and two buckles to the page. Trim green dot paper and ink the edges. Round bottom left edge, then adhere to the page. Trim two strips of diamonds patterned paper and ink the edges. Round bottom right edge and adhere to the page.
3.) Print 4x6 photo and ink the edges. Mount onto brown patterned paper and ink edges, then adhere to the page. Ink the edges of a card base and adhere to the page. Stamp grettings onto card base, trim out, then ink edges and adhere to the page.
4.) Stamp stars, cake, and "celebrate" circle onto blue cardstock, trim out, and ink the edges and adhere to the page. Stamp little stars and swirls as accents. Use a ruler to draw lines and handwrite journaling. Adhere arrows with brads to left side of the photo.
Have fun!
