Come on. That totally makes your heart stutter, doesn't it?

The thought of all that gorgeous jewelery. All those pretty blue boxes, tied up with a bow. The idea that someday, we'll be just like Reese Witherspoon in "Sweet Home Alabama," with our very own Patrick Dempsey standing there saying, "Pick one."

So, when I was looking for a paper pack to use on a layout celebrating an everyday moment between my parents, who have been married over forty years, what better choice than the Tiffany Blue Paper pack by Holly Brooke Jones? They're elegant. They're understated. They're also slightly whimsical, with that tiffany-blue color scheme.

I paired them with subtly-patterned white background papers. I created different-sized strips using the rectangle tool, and then grouped the papers to them. (Adding an outer glow instead of a drop shadow creates a very realistic layered look.) Next came an overlay; I adjusted the saturation and lowered the opacity to make it blend in more, and also moved two butterflies over by my photo. A bit of bling in the form of scattered rhinestones and a stitched border add even more texture, to keep my page from feeling too flat.

All in all, a very elegant, understated, and slightly whimsical page. :)
