This months theme is all about stickers!! Which in a way freaked me out as I am not a huge sticker fan, at least not when I was a paper scrapbooker, unless you consider Thickers to be stickers; which I guess they are, they are sticky on the back :) LOL Either way, I can't say I used many stickers, although now the possibilities are endless :)

In digital scrapbooking, a lot of elements can be consider stickers, right? But for me, a sticker has that distinct white edging around it. That's why, the little tree stickers from Michelle's "Fall for Me" kit were the perfect starting point for my layout! All I did was recolour one of them and make it a bit smaller than the other to represent big and little, since my layout is all about my oldest daughter becoming a big sister! Other sticker elements I used were Carina's alpha from her Sproulet kit. The alpha again has that distinct white edging. Keeping on the white edging theme, I made a point to put a faint border around each of my photos and some of the papers.

This layout has been one I've wanted to complete for exactly one year! Because these photos were taken last Thanksgiving weekend and we just celebrated this years Thanksgiving. To see my oldest daughter in these photos just melts my heart, she has grown up so much. The biggest adjustment for her this past year has been being a big sister! When these photos were taken the idea of big sister was just something we said and she thought was lots of fun and she was so excited and loved showing affection to baby sister by kissing Mommy's tummy. Of course once baby sister arrived, that same love continued, but now that baby sister is mobile and able to take stuff off her big sister, that excitement isn't quite as pronounced as it once was :)
