For this week's Finally Friday card, I wanted to use the "thanks" cut from Card Words Thanks Designer Cuts digital kit and pair it with BasicGrey Origins patterned paper. I choose white for the sentiment because I really wanted it to stand out against the dark colors from the Origins paper. Somewhere along the brainstorming process, I decided to use black cardstock as the base for the card.
TIP for using black cardstock: Black cardstock can look very flat and boring. Create interest by adding a texture with embossing (heated or dry). Sometimes you can also make it more interesting with a different shape of card.
