36 Days of... : Countdown to Christmas Set
By Jennifer Gallacher
|
Obviously I love the Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Magic line. The hard part is choosing what to use on your Christmas projects.
The card:
- Fold a sheet of red cardstock in half.
- Run tan cardstock through an embossing machine with a dotted design.
- Machine stitch tan rectangle to card front.
- Add a strip of the pattern paper.
- Add a scallop border from green cardstock below the pattern paper (rub edges with the green stamp pad).
- Add a thin border strip from the green cardstock above the pattern paper.
- Poke a small hole to the left of the green border strip and thread tan twine through the hole twice and tie into a bow.
- Mount the foil ornament sticker on the card with pop dots.
- Add a “wonder” sticker to the ornament.
- Tie a bow with red ribbon and add to ornament with a glue and pop dot.
- Pierce two holes above the bow and add a medium and small glitter brad to the card.
Ornament:
- Thread the red ribbon through the top of the ornament and tie into a bow.
- Add the rub-on phrase and snowflake.
- Thread tan twine through a green button and tie into a bow.
- Attach to the ornament with a glue dot.
Tag:
- Use an extra strip of the tan embossed cardstock and machine stitch to a rectangle of red cardstock.
- Mount the ornament sticker to the tag with pop dots.
- Add a glitter snowflake to the ornament.
- Print “to” and “from” on green cardstock and punch out with a circle punch.
- Rub edges with green stamping ink and mount on the ornament.
- Thread sheer red ribbon through the ornament (being careful not to tear the sticker) and tie into a bow.
