Hi Peas!

Do you ever find yourself wanting to scrap, but not having the time to go through photos, gather supplies and get through a page?  Or do you find yourself wanting to take a little breather and be creative?  ...but not necessarily have the time to do much at all?  When I get the urge to be creative (without time to allow for a good 'play') I like to sketch out some projects.  It really gets the mojo happening!  Also, I find when I do get a chance to sit down and scrap, it is such a time saver if I know exactly what supplies I want to get out for the layout... instead of mulling over ideas and products as I go.

With this page, I knew exactly what I was going to do, where I wanted paper strips, accents and scallops.  So it literally only took me a half hour after I sat down!  That is including printing the journaling onto the cardstock via my computer!  Which is amazing for me... I usually take much much much longer! heeee!

If you need to break it down even further... set aside an extra half hour one day or earlier in the day than when you expect to scrap to allow 'prep' time... gathering supplies etc.  

ALSO, a big part of this challenge... is only plan a page that will take a half hour to create.  Which most of the time, does mean pretty simple.  You wouldn't believe the creativity that is bound to follow!  Make it an 'opener' of things to come... I find quick pages especially great if I have been away from my scrapping goodies for a few days to many, gets me back into the swing of things!

Got a scrap piece of paper, a notebook... back of an envelope from the stack of mail on the counter?  Sketch out some ideas!  While you are cooking supper even... it only takes a few minutes!  Carry a little notebook around with you if you like... then put your ideas to life the next chance you get to scrap!
