This week, I'd like to challenge you to use fabric on your page.

Every once in awhile I get the time and energy to sew up a little something for Campbell. Last month, it was a patchwork skirt. My scrapbook room is also my sewing room and I happened to have bits from both projects on my desk. I found an extra strip of patchwork fabric and thought it would be perfect for a page about her new skirt.

For the title, I stamped letter stamps on patterned paper, then trimmed around the letters. I also used Doodlebug stickers. I love the contrast between the thick chunky stamps and the frilly letter stickers.

I sprinkled several Sassafrass Lass stickers around the page, printed out my journaling and then punched along the bottom of the journaling strip--matching the loopy letter stickers.

I used my machine to stitch down the large pink square and the strip of patchwork fabric.
