| Start Date: January 7th
Class Notes:
It is our hope that this class appeals to beginning photographers with all types of cameras. There will be parts of the course that are camera specific - for example, during weeks 1 & 2 we will be discussing aperture, ISO, and shutter speed, and most of what we will discuss involves having the ability to change these settings on your camera. Weeks 5 - 11, however, are going to be all about composition, and learning how to use your camera effectively in a number of different situations.
You do not have to sign up for the course. It is free! Course materials, in the form of an article and downloadable, printable PDF, will be available on the Photography Education page found
here.
Each weekly challenge will be accessible through the photography homepage.
Each week we'll also lead a discussion about the current week's topic on the photography message board.
We have chosen the following outline based primarily on the questions you gave us in the discussion thread on the photography board. Thank you so much for sharing your questions with us!
