Seriously. If you know me, you know. The quickest way to make me smile is a little dose of Buddy the Elf. It is my fail-safe. My go-to guy. My happy place.
I have watched this DVD so many times, I've completely destroyed a copy. So this past Christmas, I treated myself to a new copy of the movie and saved this old disc to scrapbook. Who knows? Maybe the next time you're blue, you can say goodbye to Mr. Narwhal and "take a walk through the Candy-Cane Forest" . Why? "I just like to smile. Smiling's my favorite!" Does it get any simpler than that?
And I can't believe how incredibly perfect the Sassafras Lass "Life at the Pole" collection was for my page; those vignettes are just too adorable!
Now, just in case some radical technology some day far-off can save my scratched-to-smithereens DVD, I have attached it with a loop of satin ribbon to the page, so there is actually no adhesive on the disc at all. You know. Just in case.
The awesome leaping reindeer was cut with Adobe Illustrator on my Quickutz Silhouette, and taken from Kate Teague's digital kit.
