Welcome to the March class of A Year of You! :) Can you believe that we are already in March? This year is going by so quickly!! This month's class is an easy technique that you can use on so many of your projects. I sewed a simple pocket onto my page to hold 4x6 photo cards from all our activities from the month of March. By stapling (or sewing) a ribbon loop at the top of the card, it's easy to grab out of the pocket and view the photos...a great way to include more photos on your layout!

Be sure to come and chat with us in the Education forum about this class, to ask any questions and to share your layouts. Also, be sure to upload your project to the gallery and check the 'challenge' box for the class to be entered into the drawing for the month.
I've loved seeing your layouts for this class - I hope that these classes continue to inspire you to create a layout and in the end, a full album, of creative layouts that show your year in review.
I've got to tell you - when I went to scan the project and get this uploaded - I realized that I printed the main photo from 2007 - not 2008 (which I am doing my layouts about). I laughed so hard - must of been a crazy few days for me to mess that up! LOL! So, I will change the main photo soon!
All the photos done on the cards were simple: Open a 4"x6" 300 dpi file in your photoshop program and then open all your photos up. I changed 3 photos to 4"x2" and dragged them onto the 4x6 page. Then, I opened another 4x6 page and changed all my photos to 2"x3" and then dragged 4 of them onto the page. Added my dates and text and printed on my computer here at home. It was fun and I loved that I was able to get a lot of photos on this page with that technique.
I can't wait to see your projects! Have fun!
