Stamping on Patterned Paper
June Class Description: Stamps and Patterned Paper...two things that you might not think naturally go together. But they definitely can have some fun together! I admit it, I'm not a huge stamper. I usually wasn't happy with the lack of a crisp image when I stamped, but now that there are heat embossing powders in so many amazing colors the possibilities are endless. I love how the crisp, solid image looks on patterned paper. So that's what I based the class around this month. On the layout I stamped right on to the background patterned paper and essentially made my own. I've also included several card examples to help get some ideas rolling for you. Grab your favorite stamps and patterned paper and let's get started!
Be sure to download the PDF, here, for more photos, description, links to examples and directions for this layout.
Each month we will have a challenge associated with the class. This month your challenge is to create a layout/card/project on which you've stamped on patterned paper.
To participate in the Challenge:
-Create a project on which you've stamped on patterned paper.
-Layout can Digital, Traditional or a Hybrid.
-Submit your layout by uploading to the gallery by July 9, 2010 11:59 CST. Don't forget to click the box next to this class (Patterned Paper Every Which Way: June 2010).
