Hi all! Welcome to the A Year in Cards class for July 2010. :)

One of the things that I sometimes struggle with is how to use small stamps, punches, or other mini items in my craft stash. They're just so cute and itty bitty, I can't help myself from buying them! But then when I get them to my craft desk, sometimes I'm stumped. Then I remind myself to try using repetition.

Repetition is actually one of my favorite design principles. It's an easy way to create great impact with small elements.

HOMEWORK / CHALLENGE: Make a card with repeating elements on it. Use the sketches included here as a jumping off point to create some cards of your own, or create your own from scratch.
