Sponsored Projects : American Crafts new spring collection

I am really excited about American Crafts' new spring collection, particularly the Kids line which is perfect for both boys and girls. I used papers, rub-ons, chipboard and plastic shapes from this line. Felt Playhouse letters, journaling pen, mini brads, metal photo corners and turns are also by American Crafts.
Directions:
1. Use solid color of two American Crafts papers for the background. I love that AC papers are double sided, one side patterned and the other side a coordinating solid color.
2. Cut two strips of AC patterned paper that are approximately 2 inches wide and here to the bottom of the layout. Cut two strips of coordinating AC paper that are 1/2 inch wide and adhere above the other patterned paper.
3. Adhere photos to layout. Adhere strip of ribbon over the top row of photos and embellish corners of photos with AC metal turns anchored with mini brads (page 2).
4. Create title with AC felt letter stickers at the bottom of the page (page 3).
5. Embellish layout with metal photo corners, chipboard, plastic shapes and rub-ons (page 4&5).
6. Handwrite journaling.
Journaling reads, "I really love that the three of you are growing up to be such great friends. You do have your share of disagreements and fights, but for the most part you get along and that makes me such a proud and happy mama! I hope and pray that you get closer as you get older and that the love you share, the way you take care of each other, grows stronger every day."
Sorry for dark splotchy shadows on the image of my layout. My scanner doesn't like the lumpy stuff on my pages. :P Thanks for looking! -Joy |
