We've been in Cape Cod the past week enjoying the scenery while the kids are out of school for Spring Break. This past week on the 11th, we loaded our car up on the ferry and went over to Martha's Vineyard for the day. We made a lot of memories that I wanted to get down right away, so I didn't forget them...such as some of the locals giving me a hard time about my parking and asking if I learned to drive at KMart. It really wasn't that bad of a parking job but my boys latched onto it and brought it up every chance they got during the rest of our trip.
1. Open a new 17x11 inch document. Open, size and arrange your photos into a photo block as shown.
2. Add your title (since I was using a white background, I made my title white and used a red stroke to outline it so that it appears to be an outline font) and subtitle, ribbon (Fun & Games) and staples (Altered Elements).
3.Use the shape tool to make a circle and drag it off the page with the move tool. Open the blue numbers paper from the 2 Peas Fun & Games kit and use a clipping mask to attach it to the circle. Stroke the circle with an 8 pt red line.
4.Select a 9 pixel hard round brush. Go to your brushes palette and set the spacing so that it makes dots. Hold down the shift key and drag your brush across the page to make a line of dots.
5. Add the word art piece from the Fun and Games kit and the checkerboard border lines from the Borderlines kit. Add your journaling and you're all done!
