Awesome, Nichol! That background silhouette work is gorgeous. I'd love to have it embroidered on a pillow! And I want to recreate it in a scrapbook page. :)

I LOVE this, but I am having a horrible time executing it. LOL Guess I will keep playing around with it. That is the only part of my layout that I am waiting on. LOL

That looks absolutely gorgeous! I am not very good at heat embossing...the last time I did it, I woke up the family at midnight because I set off the smoke/heat alarm in the house! Ha! I might dust off my heat embossing tool, dig out my one embossing powder and try it again....thanks for the video, Nichol!

That lay out is so colorful. I never thought to use different types of embossing powder though. Since I haven't been able to purchase many colors of embossing power I usually just put Versamark on my stamp first and then color my stamp with different colored markers and layer with clear embossing powder to get that effect. The colors are MORE vivid and make quite a statement.

My apologizes Nichol. My last statement should have read that your method of using different embossing powders makes the colors more vivid and make quite a statement. You do wonderful work!

Wow...!!!! I have never tried to emboss multiple colors, but I'll try it now. I also never stamp directly onto my page because I'm always afraid I'll mess it up. I also would have stopped embellishing before you did - but I can see how much it added to the layout. Thanks for taking me out of my comfort zone!

I have no idea if you will see this comment or not considering it is more than 12 months after the video was posted. I have only just found this series of videos, but I am hooked. This is an amazing technique which I have to give a go - I'm sure it will take me ages to master it. I'm excited to use my stamps more with my scrapping - which will relieve my husband no end!! LOL. After I've given this a go I'll watch another video. Thanks so much Nichol. Oh and I love your style too.
