Class Lesson - Scrapbook Stamping: August 2011 part of class Scrapbook Stamping with Nichol Magouirk by Nichol Magouirk posted 08/01/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking, Stamping August's Scrapbook Stamping class features resists stamping techniques. Resist is one of those techniques that is just plain fun to do! A few of my favorite products for resist stamping are Distress Inks applied with the Ranger Ink Blending Tool (like Teri & Laura did on their layouts), using Distress Stains(like Jennifer used on her page) and using ink mists (like I did on my layout). Another idea is to use re-inkers. Check out this month's guest designer layouts for additional ideas on using stamped resist on layouts. CHALLENGE: Use a stamped resist technique on your next layout. *Be sure your project is a scrapbook page as this is a layout class and please make sure to follow the challenge in order to be entered in the drawing for a Gift Certificate.* I have included a sketch with the class lesson but it is not necessary to use the sketch for your submission. Please upload your layout to the Two Peas Gallery by August 31st. Don't forget to check the box next to this class when you upload for a chance at winning a randomly selected gift certificate from Two Peas! When I saw Mt. Rushmore, I got excited...that is my hometown! We were just there a couple of weeks ago for a visit, when were you there? Love all of these pics and how you did the title in the center!
