Class Lesson - Products You Love Every Which Way: February 2011 part of class Products You Love Every Which Way with Shannon Tidwell by Shannon Tidwell posted 02/10/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking Welcome to the 2nd installment of Products You Love Every Which Way! This lesson is all about… PUNCHES I think that most of us have accumulated quite a large number of punches. Some dating back to the days of when we first started scrapbooking. My goal is to give you a few ideas for your punches…old ones and new ones. Tiny ones, and big ones. Punches are a bit pricey sometimes, but they can be used over and over. (Even after almost 10 years, as you can see on my first layout.) I had more ideas than I could fit into the class, so you’ll see a couple additional ideas posted in the Gallery throughout the month. Dust off those punches and let’s get started! You can download the PDF here [twopeasinabucket.com] to see more photos and description of the three projects. I made a quick video to demonstrate a few of the techniques used in the class as well.... Don't forget, with each class lesson there is a CHALLENGE! Here are the details... This month your challenge is to create a layout/card/project on which you've used PUNCHES. Try to use them in a way you never have before! To participate in the Challenge: -Create a project on which you've used PUNCHES. -Project can Digital, Traditional or a Hybrid. -Submit your layout by uploading to the gallery by March 9, 2011 11:59 CST. Don't forget to click the box next to this class (Products You Love Every Which Way: February 2011) on Step 4 of uploading. I will pick a winner randomly from all the submissions to win a Gift Certificate to Two Peas and post the winner on the Education Board on March 10th. For every submission to this class you will earn a cute badge! Don't forget to stop by the Education Board to chat and share links to your layouts. **Along with the products I used in my layouts I've also linked some other favorite punches that will work. The tiny punches I used on the first layout are EK Paper Shapers, but I noticed that there are some American Girl Punches that are tiny and cute...and on sale!** |

I enjoyed seeing your creative process and I'm so happy you're doing videos now. I have all those EK success mini-punches too - glad I kept them. My kids & I still use them a lot.

Your projects are beautiful! I especially love the first one using all the old EK Success punches - I think I have most of those! Love how you mixed all the different punches and the bright colors. Thanks again for another inspirational class!
