love them all... happy and really playful. :)
Loved all the layouts - what fun using non-traditional layouts! I especially loved the feathers as I was just thinking of using it for one of my projects too. Thanks for showing the start to finish process. Loved seeing you work. :)
Love them all... I was going through my Christmas scrap items last Saturday and came across a bunch of tags and thought what am I ever going to do with all these. Now I have the inspiration to use them! Thanks so much!
Oh, my mother thought I was crazy once when I cut out flowers and buttons from an outfit of my daughters. Told her it was a very cheap imbellishment that gives more personal value then those you buy.
It's by need to breathe. Forgot to add credit to my video, oops! But you tube adds it automatically if you view the video there.
All 3 layouts were bright, happy and really playful! I especially loved the owl you used on the last one.
Also, who sings the song you were playing?
i love that you used that sweet owl from a onsie....
what a great idea, instead of letting them get moldy in a box!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Class Lesson - Products You Love Every Which Way--December 2011
part of class Products You Love Every Which Way with Shannon Tidwell
by Shannon Tidwell
Products You Love Every Which Way!
This lesson is all about…
& a few non-traditional supplies
This class is about pushing yourself…using products that you have (and love) but you might have been skipping over. Finding new uses for products you love and use all the time. Discovering new products.
We came around full circle..from Border Stickers in January to Label Stickers in December. I had to end with a product that can be used on every single layout! In this class we’ll mix up the sizes, shapes and colors to create a background for your title, a base for an embellishment…& a border!
I added a little extra to these layouts as well…a few non-traditional supplies. Tulle, fabric & feathers, and a baby shirt embellishment…what fun things can you find around your house to create more Products You Love?!
You can download a PDF with instructions and a few tidbits about each of the layouts here [twopeasinabucket.com].
And of course I have a lovely video for you to watch, too. In this video I briefly discuss each of the layouts and my mad ways of scrapping. I also create a 3rd layout right before your eyes!:)
As always, there is a challenge that goes along with the class lesson. This month your challenge is to create a layout/card/project on which you've used LABEL STICKERS.
To participate in the Challenge:
-Create a project on which you've used LABEL STICKERS.
-Project can Digital, Traditional or a Hybrid.
-Submit your layout by uploading to the gallery by January 9, 2012 11:59 CST. Don't forget to click the box next to this class (Products You Love Every Which Way: December 2011) on Step 4 of uploading.
I will pick a winner randomly from all the submissions to win a Gift Certificate to Two Peas and post the winner on the Education Board on January 10th. For every submission to this class you will earn a cute badge!
Don't forget to stop by the Education Board to chat and share links to your layouts.
**Along with the products I used in my layouts I've also linked some other favorite LABEL STICKERS that you should check out. **
