Class Lesson - February Stretch Your Sketch: The Independent Life part of class Stretch Your Sketch with Jen Gallacher by JenGallacher posted 02/20/11 Galleries: Scrapbooking Are you ready for a two-page spread based on a sketch? I know many of you enjoy creating two-page layouts when you create, and this month's class was designed for YOU! In this class, I focus on creating an 8 1/2 X 1" double page spread (look for additional ideas including a 12X12" double page spread, and a one page layout all based on this sketch). In addition to using a sketch, I show you one way to incorporate ribbon onto your layout as a border strip. Super simple, but brings whole new life to your projects! You can download the class pdf with instructions and photos here [twopeasinabucket.com]. You can watch the helpful video here (broken into two parts: Part A and Part B for each page of the double page spread): Challenge: Use the sketch as inspiration to create a single or double page spread (any size). Upload it to the gallery and be sure to mark the correct challenge box to be included in the drawing for a 2Peas Gift Certificate. |

Wow, this is so awesome! Love the photos and colors - they really pop! Your journaling is so touching. I'm sure Katelyn will treasure this layout, if she doesn't already. And based and what you said, she really is a super hero! (and I'm reallllly impressed she made that costume all by herself - you must have passed on your creative genes!)

I think I would do more pages if I didn't have to go and have pictures printed at the local store or order on line...that usually results in a big order and I feel overwhelmed....so, what printer do you use at home to print as needed photographs?

PS....Have you ever tried Hermafix Dotto Repositionable Adhesive? It's all I use for papers and photos. It starts out repositionable but after a few days it seems more permanent to me. It will come right off while you're working but days later it will rip the paper if you pull on it so it must start sticking more after a while.
