Love the idea of a photo pocket made out of a transparency. I recently made a pocket page using cardstock...now I'm wishing I had watched this first!
Just wanted to say that I've been watching this series waaaay after it was new and still getting lots of inspiration! I'm going to use this design right now.
Love this project. Great idea to use the transperancy so you get a hint of the other photos on the insert. Wonderful to fit all those 4 x 6 photos on one page! I'm impressed and can't wait to use this idea in my travel album.
Thanks for the awesome and easy ideas to get so many photos on a page Shimelle.
I'm going to use this project and the project from August to scrap photos from my daughters wedding. Great ideas Shimelle and you're a great teacher!
OK I am only 1:39 into it and I can already tell this is AWESOME. AWESOME!!! How come I never think of this stuff?
Class Lesson - 4x6 Photo Love :: September 2011
part of class 4x6 Photo Love with Shimelle Laine
Welcome to the September edition of 4x6 Photo Love! It's the ninth month of the year, so we're scrapping nine 4x6 photos! This month's design concept is a big pocket across the page, perfect for holding plenty of photos that can easily be removed at the top of the page protector. I like using transparencies for the pocket so you can see a little peek of the photos hiding there.

This month we are joined by pea MandyMK - Mandy Koeppen - as our special guest. She has created two pages - one 12x12 [twopeasinabucket.com] and one in 8.5x11 [twopeasinabucket.com]. Go check out her pages and add them to your bookmarks!
Watch this video to see how the page is made.
Every month you can enter the 4x6 Photo Love challenge. To be eligible to win, you need to follow this month's design concept - so nine 4x6 prints scrapped with a pocket page design - but beyond that you can use your own style, supplies and themes! Enter by the 29th of October to have a chance at winning a Two Peas prize. The winner is posted on the Education board on the 30th, when the next lesson goes live.
Now it's your turn! Grab nine 4x6 photos and get scrapping! Can't wait to see your pages in the gallery!
