I love opening mail around the holidays and receiving updates from family and friends. Most of the time, they send newsletters describing how the year went and give brief updates on each member of the family. Sending cards and newsletters is a great tradition, and an awesome way to keep in touch!

So why not combine the newsletter with your homemade holiday card! In this mini class I show how to incorporate a newsletter into three different holiday cards. Each one is super easy!

SOME TIPS:

- Make your card first, and then fold or cut some scratch paper to the size you want your newsletter to be. Use the scratch paper as a guide for formatting your newsletter on your computer in your favorite word processing or design program.

- Print out your newsletter once to check that it's the perfect size for your card. Then make any needed adjustments.

- After you have your newsletter the way you want it, then you can start printing out several copies and start assembling your cards/newsletters. Good luck! :)

Wish I'd seen today's Cards with Newsletter BEFORE I made this year's 100 cards :( Oh well, I'll save the instructions for NEXT year :) The Ornament card will be so mine!
