Hi Peas!

Today I'd like to share with you 3 simple cards made with scrapbook supplies.

Card 'happy day':
I used a piece of patterned paper as the back of the card, with the kraft cardstock being the main opening of the card. I like to use supplies that create texture, so I chose this My Mind's Eye chipboard as the main title of the card. I then cut Studio Calico Fabrips to create the twine area where the letters hang from. The white pen created a stitched look, mimicing the same white stitching on the letter banner.

Card 'happy birthday to you':
These premade American Crafts cards make giving so simple! I love the premade designs, but adding a little bit of embellishments is easy too! I love the KI Memories puffies, they make for super quick cards! For texture, I added a glitter corner and star rubon and star chipboard.

Card 'hello there':
For this card, I used leftover patterned paper as the backing of my card. I also used patterned paper and stickers to embellish the card. Premade printed tags make cardmaking super quick and easy, I used pop dots to make the American Crafts metal rim tag pop out.

Challenge: Let a single layer be a base for your card as I did in Card #1, add texture to a card and tell us how you did it, OR cut up stickers and make them work for your composition like I did in Card #3. A drawing from the challenge submissions will be made and the winner of a sponsored prize pack will be announced on the Education message board May 6th. You have through May 5th at 11:59 pm CST to enter!
