Gorgeous set -- would love to make some this pretty for Mother's Day gifts.

I LOVE the cards!! Thanks for sharing them with us!! Have a FABULOUS DAY!! =)

What a GORGEOUS set! I love the colors so much! Each and every card is adorable!

What a great idea! I have a few family/friend birthdays coming up and think this is a wonderful idea for a gift. One of the great things about a pack of cards is that you can make a few cards with just a few pieces of paper. Making sure they "match" (using the same paper different ways) gives the card pack a great flow.

Thanks so much for this challenge. I can't wait to get started:)

I enjoyed your challenge! I made a card with a scalloped edge. You can see my card by clicked the tag above "challenge submissions" or going to the stamping gallery.

Hey Peas!

One of my favourite gifts to give are card sets, and with the weather warming up I wanted to make a spring set. I didn't want it to be too matchy matchy, so I tried to tie them together with the inspiration of a spring colour palette with scallops, butterfly's, and flowers.

These cards came together rather quickly, by setting a colour scheme and pulling product that fit the bill. I used my sewing machine, and even some trusty decorative edge scissors to add a little something extra.

Some fun things I'd like to point out:
Card #2 literally took me minutes to make with the help of the American Crafts tape. Just press it down and go!

Card #3 shows a fun way to use up excess letter stickers. By layering them over a similar coloured paper it makes a soft statement that is fun to look at.

Card #4 I used butterfly rub ons on a piece of scratch paper, and then cut them out to adhere them to the card.

The flowers on #'s 6&7 were fun to make, and each layer was cut from patterned paper, and popped up with some adhesive foam for dimension.
***
I also have the pleasure of issuing a challenge to you all. As is apparent by most of these cards I just LOVE scallops, so make a card(s) and show me the scallops! There are tons of products out there to make it easy on you, with punches, stickers, die cuts, scissors, etc. Have fun!!
