I did this one right after the election. I wanted to capture my feelings and chose to focus mostly on the excitement, energy and hope the election and Obama's victory gave me. TFL! xo, Jessie
 
Journaling: “Yes we can! November 5, 2008, the world felt like a new place, a new start for the country and for the future I want to create. There was a sense of excitement & energy in the air, but also of peace & extreme gratitude. I would stop to think about the previous nights election coverage and honestly, tears welled up little, goosebumps rising to the surface of my skin. I was that moved. This November, I am thankful for this change & for our future President who symbolizes so much I was hoping, praying and waiting for.”
