That is the perfect image for a kids card! You did a great job coloring him. I bet he is magical in real life with the twinking H2O's and glitter!
You have such great stamps! This card is perfect of a kid's card. It makes me smile.
Cute, cute stamp! He's colored so nicely too! I'm reminded of the childhood song, "Puff, the Magic Dragon... lived by the sea." Do you know it? :)

Project - SOF11 Children's Cards Challenge by djc posted 10/10/11 at 12:45 PM Galleries: Stamping I've had this stamp for a long time, and I love it. I tried coloring it once with pencils, and was disappointed. This time I tried Twinkling H2Os, and I'm happy with the results. Ann, thank you for the challenge. Without it, who knows how long this image would have remained idle on the shelf. CARDS: #1. aprox. 5 7/8“ square #2. aprox. 5 6/8” x 5 7/8“ Bazzill Cardstock FOCAL IMAGE: Stampa Rosa (1994) Dragon 140-lb. hot press watercolor paper Versafine Onyx Black Ink Ranger's Clear Superfine Embossing Powder Twinkling H2O's (Key Lime, Mallard Green, Guatemalan Green, Copper Penny) Spica Clear Glitter Pen (teeth and toenails–almost invisible even IRL) Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass) I plan to write on the inside: ”I'm ready. What's taking you so long?" I made this for lickeyan's Childrens' Cards Challenge, but now that I see them, I think they'd be nice cards to make anyone smile. TFL. Daria 1/17/12, ETA: I found the perfect sentiment stamp to go with this dragon image. It's by Judith. I just needed to mask the sentiment. Of course, the first time I stamped it, I forgot to remove the mask. Why do I persist in doing that? I posted both the original version and the masked one that I used inside of the card. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and embossed it with Ranger Clear Superfine EP. I colored it with Tombow Markers (993, 905, 077, N00). I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to ink the edges. TFL. Daria |
